So, I’m addicted to Project Runway. And although Season 5 wrapped last week, I still try to catch the reruns when I can. And, I know no one actually liked Kenley, but no one can deny that the girl had serious personal style. So in the spirit of Kenley’s style, I give you my new favorite accessory: The Feather Headband.

Lately when I’m printing a run of cards or prints, I’ve been trying to stretch my ink and paper scraps a bit farther (I recently figured out just how much money I’ve spent on this venture and it scared me!) so I’ve started making gift tags. It’s great because now everyone can have a little taste of a limited edition piece or a custom order (the purple ornaments were ordered as a custom printing for my sister) and I’m doing something worthwhile with the extra paper that I can’t bear to throw away. I’ll be including a couple tags in each order from now until the holidays (or until I run out). Hope you enjoy!
I can’t imagine it ever gets very chilly in San Diego, and yet some very cute knitwear and yarn comes out of the city (check out little grey cat designs and oanad56).
Fringe is another such example. I love the originality of Dennice’s designs as well as her color selection, especially this bright olive in the cowl below.
If you’re into knitting or crocheting (or just want to look like you are), you simply must check out Snowberry and Lime on etsy. Veronika spins all her yarn by hand from very very high quality materials including some made of soy silk, which looks absolutely decadent (and is vegan!). Personally, I love yarns that retain the color of the animal that originally wore them such as these, but her brightly colored hand-painted skeins are beautiful too.
Probably one of the most unique treatments on pottery I’ve seen, Alyssa Ettinger’s knitware ceramic pieces are pure genious. Not sure how she does it, but I love the incredible detail in the texture of her pieces, and her Celery glaze is fantastic.
