Valentine’s Day is just around the corner! You guys already know I have a bunch of awesome heartfelt cards in the shop, and that a bouquet of paper flowers would make an even better gift than real ones on the big day, so the only thing left to remind you about is to order before the end of January in order to receive them on time! Happy shopping!

I had a few new subscribers join the club in December, so the January bundle was really fun to put together! I chose bright tones to cheer up a winter’s day, with some exclusive designs (like the relax cards) and limited quantities (shop the last of the polka dots here—they won’t be reprinted!).

Is there anything better than an armful of colorful blooms? I don’t think so, especially when they are lovingly handmade and last forever. So when I got together with Adi of Ballyknock Photo, I brought a bunch of bouquets along with the crowns from my last post.
This monochromatic arrangement was actually a commission for a wedding show and was shipped out the day after it was photographed. Since the blooms were all whites and creams, I wanted to create interest with a variety of flower types and textures, especially in the foliage by incorporating paper evergreens, succulents and branches berries in with my hand-dyed leaves.
When I was home this fall, I splurged on a super fancy Italian crepe paper in a gorgeous merlot color. It looks so beautiful with reds, fuchsias, purples… pretty much everything. I love this bouquet!
I wanted to try a few shots with my scooter, and they turned out even better than I imagined! My model thought I was crazy, but I just love these funky boots with her beautiful lace tea-length gown.
While I love color, I really enjoyed putting together this more traditional bridal bouquet of whites and pinks. Shop all flowers here!

I decided to rework my flower crown designs a few weeks ago. While previously, they’d been a simple halo of wire, the new version is a semicircle with coordinating ribbon attached to each end. The new designs are a bit more stable on your head and are able to be worn in a variety of ways. Still available in two sizes, shop here and here!
And since I had some new merchandise, I grabbed some friends and set up a shoot with Ballyknock Photo! We spent the afternoon in Adi’s backyard and got some amazing shots… stay tuned for more!
