Well you guys, I’ve been talking about it for months, but offset printed wedding invitations have finally hit my etsy shop! And since I’m traveling most of this month for weddings across the country, I thought this was the perfect time to launch them!

Since every couple has different stationery needs, I’ve structured the wedding section of my shop in such a way that you start with the invitation and then add on whatever enclosures and extras you’d like. The other great thing about that is that the invitations alone are really affordable—so you can have them customized for other events! Just get in touch.

purple_floral_5974I fell in love with these hand painted purple graphics from Create the Cut as soon as I saw them. Since they were part of a giveaway and quite a few designers have them, I wanted to make sure to create something unique than just placing them on the page, and these chic invites are the result!

Somebody get me a cocktail

Today is one I’ve been waiting for—in a few hours, a dear friend and her husband (and first Bermuda visitors) arrive and tonight we’re celebrating her 30th birthday. So it seems an appropriate day to blog about cocktails!

french75_context_5885This month I’ve been painting a lot—reviving a love for watercolor I’ve had since childhood. A few weeks back, I started a series of classic cocktails sketched with pencil and illuminated with watercolor. I love the opportunity for both wet work—where the colors mix into each other—as well as layering transparent color on top of an area that has already dried, to create the illusion of glass.

martini_oldfashioned_frameThe original paintings are now available in my etsy shop and I think they’d make the absolute perfect art for a home bar or even your kitchen! I’ll probably keep adding to this collection—do you have a favorite cocktail I should paint? Leave a comment below!
