Abstract Ocean Wedding Invitation

ocean_5987You all know I love typography—especially at a large scale, and especially in a whimsical script. So of course this type-focused design was one of the first I created!

Originally designed for a beach side styled shoot, my ocean suite is abstract enough to work for a variety of events. I’m absolutely in love with the texture and color of that gorgeous light blue watercolor wash. I’ve also upgraded the paper in this suite to a textured stock that looks like watercolor paper and shows off the texture even more!

This suite can also be customized by changing the background color to match your plans for the big day. Just get in touch!

Time to Step Up Your Stationery Game

couple_twins_0244

Guys, I hate to be the one to break it you, but there’s a pair of newborns out in the world totally showing you up in the stationery department. Several months ago, their mama-to-be got in touch about a custom order so she’d have plenty of paper for thank you notes before the babes were born. We chatted about options, I created a few designs… and then the communication stopped. One guess what she was busy doing!

We finalized the design a few weeks later and I printed these beauties in pink and blue ink with a blind emboss ampersand. Paired with snow white envelopes, they are as perfect as those new babies!

Call for weddings: 2016!

Well you guys, it’s official: the 2016 wedding season has begun! Couples are starting to inquire about invitations left and right, but one on-the-ball bride already has her save the dates printed, and probably in the mail! obrien_8095Adrienne wanted the ever-popular coaster save the date, but she wanted the design to reflect her fairly formal wedding. I created a design that employed traditional typefaces and a fancy, yet very legible, script.

She also wanted to feature the crest of her future family quite prominently, so I created a vector illustration from the image of the crest she provided. I love how it looks in the gold ink! obrien_8098And my favorite part about these coasters is that I was able to get a fairly deep impression on the gold printing without the coaster cracking as it often does.  obrien_8096I added a few filigree flourishes in a dusty rose pink that’s part of her wedding color scheme and voila! The perfect save the dates.

Getting hitched next year? Now is the time to order your own save the dates—coasters or paper! Get in touch here :)
