Ooh, baby, baby!

baby_congrats_4957I’m to the age where everyone around me seems to be having babies. A few weeks ago, I somehow I ended up taking charge of the décor for a friend’s baby shower (no idea how that happened…). I found the cutest marquis letters at Target, added in some Martha Stewart party decor and handmade bunting and flags. I also made a diaper cake—from scratch!

My etsy customers must be in the same life stage as I am, because recently I had a woman buy all the remaining “Holy Crap you made a tiny human” cards. At one of my wholesalers’ request, I reprinted them in pink and blue—for her shop and mine! I love these cards so much and I’m overjoyed to see them flying off the shelves.

holycrap_pink_blue_8725I finally got around to printing my icon congrats cards in light pink and blue as well—plus the gender-neutral yellow at the top of this post.

Don’t worry, though, we’ve got more than cards! Of course you should pick up an everlasting bouquet for the new mama, but what about a little art for when she gets home? I just love these ABC and 123 prints in a nursery!

Everlasting flowers

large_bouquet_8561It took a little longer than anticipated, but handmade crepe paper flower bouquets are finally here! Available in small, medium and large, they’re the perfect gift for any occasion. And how great would one be for a wedding? Either for the bride—so she can keep her bouquet fresh forever—or for a special favor to the lucky lady who catches the toss bouquet!

medium_bouquet_8544Each arrangement is made to order in colors of your choice, and I’ve included a few of my favorite combinations in the listing description if you’re feeling stuck. Check them all out here!

Be Mine

I think it goes without saying at this point that I love a good monogram. I printed myself some monogrammed coasters with my new wood type when I first got it and finally got around to listing them in the shop!

mono_coaster_5036While I was working up the samples, I also made a little coaster garland for Valentine’s Day—an idea I’ve had in my head for quite a while. It turned out so cute and I think it would translate beautifully into any holiday, or for the names of the couple at a wedding!

Coaster Roller

My favorite new items from the last year are my coasters! The first were save the dates for this wedding, and since the minimum order of coaster blanks was 1,000 I started playing around with existing designs and wood type. Some of my faves were the drink coasters below, currently out of stock because I pared down for the move, but I’ll print some more soon!

drink coastersThe coasters have been so popular, I’ve since ordered a couple thousand more blanks. The first design I drew specifically for a coaster was this citrus design. I love to have a variety pack on hand for summer entertaining and I think a large quantity of single-color coasters would truly be great as part of a baby or wedding shower theme! They’re available here.

citrus_coastersGame day coasters are also awesome—the ones below are exclusively available at Driftless Studio in Madison, WI.
