Diana Brennan

Gnarled
"Gnarled"

I first fell in love with Diana Brennan’s “Gnarled” (above) quite some time ago. The silhouette is just so striking and incredibly beautiful. More recently, she’s been posting photographs from her “Natural History” series, comprised of specimens from a local museum. There’s something slightly disturbing in the fact you can tell they’re not alive, and yet they also look as though they could jump off the page.
