Just in time for Halloween, I finally get to share a Brothers Grimm inspired styled shoot featuring my gorgeous Burgundy and Blush Watercolor Floral invitation suite.
Coordinated and photographed by the enormously talented sara smile photography, this shoot absolutely exceeded my expectations and imbues a magical quality into every thing and person involved.

I created these nearly monochromatic white and green chrysanthemum invitations for the bride who doesn’t want her day to be an explosion of color. Full of energy, yet still elegant, these invites work perfectly for many different kinds of nuptials. Also featured in this suite is one of my hand-drawn custom maps—more details here!
I find that that inspiration comes in waves—for a week or two I’m all about new letterpress projects, the next it’s sewing, and the next it’s drawing. Recently, I’ve felt inspired to work with watercolors again. I’ve got some top secret ideas for a new product line (stay tuned!) but in the mean time, new original paintings are available in my shop!

I’ve also been super busy with design work and have had the opportunity to work some watercolor into a recent logo project! The client hasn’t picked one yet, but I’m rooting for the watercolor!
