Boho Bride: Unique Orange, Pink and Purple Floral Wedding Invitations

Well friends, we’re getting close to the end of my month of weddings, so I thought we’d go out with a bang. Originally created for a late-summer boho styled shoot (pics to come this fall!), I painted the watercolor flowers for these myself.

boho_floral_6004I love the energy and colors in this suite, but I think my favorite part is actually the whimsical design of the RSVP! Such a fun way to pack in a lot of information for your guests.

Too much floral can get repetitive, so for the boho save the date, I let the brush lettering shine on an ombré watercolor background. My new offset printer offers a variety of die-cut shapes, which really makes this piece stand out!boho_savethedate_5990

Tying the Knot: Nautical Wedding Invitations

Friends from Bermuda are celebrating their nuptials at a yacht club in New York tomorrow! Since I already had this trip home planned, I’m unable to attend, but I used their big day as my inspiration for these nautical invitations!

Monstera Monday: Foliage-Filled Wedding Invites

Ah, #monsteramonday! I’ve been saving these, just so I could use that hashtag on my Instagram post! It’s been quite the task, as this design is one of my favorites!

When I saw these giant monstera leaves in a pack of watercolor illustrations I recently purchased, I knew they would make an awesome statement on an invitation! Equally perfect for a South Beach wedding (can you imagine these with a pink envelope?!) or a foliage-filled urban loft, these invites are sure to get your guests excited for the big day.

Destination Wedding: Tropical Invitations

Bermuda must be getting to me: I’ve been designing lots of invitations inspired by the tropics lately. And since it’s Friday, I thought you guys deserved a double feature!

Perfect for a destination wedding, or if you want your big day to feel like a getaway! And since most destination weddings happen in the winter, now is the time to get going on them!

When you’re planning destination nuptials, you might as well go all out, right? So whether you’re thinking palms or pineapples, both of these invitations feature hand-lettered brush scripts, colorful watercolor and playful illustrations, perfect for a big day at the beach!

My favorite thing about these invitations is that they don’t necessarily scream WEDDING, but they will definitely let your guests know they’re in for a fun filled day—which means they’re also perfect for any other kind of bash! They can be easily modified for a piña colada themed birthday party, a backyard luau or foliage-filled dinner party. palm_6045

Abstract Ocean Wedding Invitation

ocean_5987You all know I love typography—especially at a large scale, and especially in a whimsical script. So of course this type-focused design was one of the first I created!

Originally designed for a beach side styled shoot, my ocean suite is abstract enough to work for a variety of events. I’m absolutely in love with the texture and color of that gorgeous light blue watercolor wash. I’ve also upgraded the paper in this suite to a textured stock that looks like watercolor paper and shows off the texture even more!

This suite can also be customized by changing the background color to match your plans for the big day. Just get in touch!
