There’s underwear on your underwear! I love these funky little prints from Christy & Ronnie at Lucha Workshop. Their illustration style seems very intuitive and effortless, which I love because I’m always overthinking everything.

I would like to congratulate Alicia of Reboot for getting her lovely recycled wallets into one of Madison’s hippest boutiques: Pop Deluxe. If you’re in Wisconsin, this is just one more reason you must make State Street one of your stops (aside from the high concentration of locally owned and operated shops and restaurants, of course). I know it’s not easy to put yourself out there, so way to go, Alicia!

These lovely screenprinted pieces are made in Rhode Island by Stephanie of Stevester. She’s inspired by her natural surroundings and I love that she does everything from creating the original designs to making the screens to doing the actual printing. Her straightforward style reminds me of my own – love it!

There are no words. Amazing maybe, but other than that, nothing. Yellena James is an illustrator out of Oregon whose work I LOVE. I’ll stop distracting you from her images now. Wow.

I’ll admit it, I’m a big enough nerd that I liked helvetica neue because of the name alone. Then I found Laura Kicey’s incredibly interesting view of the world captured on paper. I love the way the black lines in “aim high” switch from being simple cracks in glass to mysterious smoke-winged creatures and back again. Lovely!
